This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the school year starts, I would love to ensure that my mini scientists have what they need to meet their "potential". Paper, pencils, glue just to name a few things that can be an essential part of success. My science lab services the entire building. Because this position is considered "out of classroom", those supply lists that go out in June, don't account for the materials needed in the science lab.
Often times, I am left to purchase much needed basics out of my own pocket.
Your generosity could help all of my students reach their potential. Paper will be used for projects, copies and to create task cards. Pencils will be used to record observations and write scienctific explanations. Basic supplies such as these can make such a huge impact on my mini scientists learning potential.
