This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have really been enjoying being able to write and interact with activities in a print format, especially after we had so much virtual learning. I have noticed that they are more engaged when the material is in print, and that they are better able to retain the information from the lesson. Having print materials is important for my students, from daily activities to big projects. I especially need paper, pencils, and print materials for my English Language Learners, as they really benefit from having hardcopy handouts and having opportunities to write is important for building literacy in a language. I teach many different students with varying needs, and being able to provide printed materials for them would benefit their learning overall.
