Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Copy paper in a variety of colors is a much needed resource in the classroom. Having an ample supply of copy paper will allow students to have the supplemental resources needed to extend their learning. The classroom books and workbooks don't always have everything that is needed to complete their learning. In addition, students are not able to highlight and annotate in school books and property.

Having a variety of color paper also allows to color code vocabulary and/or subject areas.

Having vocabulary for math or English Language Development in one color helps students understand and match the vocabulary to what they are learning about. Making the copies needed for students to learn in meaningful way and have learning activities to enhance their comprehension by customizing materials according to my students with special needs given them the opportunity to engage more effectively in the classroom and to build confidence with their gained knowledge and learning.

Having an ample supply of copy paper fosters communication with student learning and communication with family when needed.

Copy paper allows the parent to see what the child is learning in school, and provide additional support to the parent during homework time and to celebrate their child's success.
