This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Paper circuits involve using copper tape and a battery to power a light or other small device. The circuits are called paper circuits since they are often taped to a paper. The beauty of a paper circuit is the ability to make many different paths and arrangements are not limited to straight lines. This is a common technique used to make a greeting card that lights up or moves.
The materials will be used to help foster creativity and problem solving.
Students will be asked to create a content-themed card that must use the circuit. In this way I hope to use science, technology, engineering, art, math and a little bit of holiday magic to get the cards ready for Christmas. The goal is to create quality cards that they can give out as a gift to someone.
