My Project
I teach 2nd-grade math at a beautiful school in Miami. In order for my students to access and utilize technology to build their math skills, we need the use of more laptops in my classroom.
The laptop I requested, will help them build their technology skills, as well as their math skills such as counting, addition, and subtraction through using educational apps to enhance and expand their learning.
For these students, computer-based technology can play an important role. Some students are currently reading low-grade level and lack the skills to solve critical-thinking mathematical problems. Most of the students do not have access to appropriate differentiated resources such as technology. By helping to fund this project, it will help to facilitate a broader range of educational activities to meet students' learning needs.
I am also requesting a case of copy paper, as we have run out of paper to print student resources.
