This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom, learning is active, hands-on, and always evolving to meet my students’ needs. Every day, we use printed materials for everything from reading comprehension and math practice to interactive games and partner work. But with limited resources, it’s a challenge to keep up with the demand for copy paper. We go through paper quickly, and when it runs out, it limits the types of activities I can offer.

The copy paper in this project will allow me to keep providing my students with engaging, personalized materials they can write on, highlight, and keep in their folders.

It helps them stay organized, focused, and involved in their learning whether they’re completing a graphic organizer, practicing fluency, or working in small groups.

The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will allow me to access high quality, teacher created resources tailored to my students’ learning levels and interests. These materials are often more engaging and differentiated than what’s found in traditional textbooks, and they save me hours of prep time that I can spend directly with students.

Together, these two supplies will give my class more opportunities to learn, create, and grow. From worksheets that reinforce key skills to creative projects that spark curiosity, this project will help me meet my students where they are and keep them moving forward.
