My Students

As a teacher serving a low income area, there are specific challenges that my students face both in and out of the classroom. These eager and excited young students come to school every day ready to learn and happy to explore. Unfortunately, situations beyond their control threaten their success on a daily basis.

Many of my students have a difficult time secure the basic supplies they'll need for daily use.

For this reason, my projects on DonorsChoose are of vital importance to my students. I believe that it is my duty to provide these exceptional young thinkers the best opportunities that I possibly can. My diverse group of dedicated and inquisitive students will get the chance they deserve with the help of these resources.

My Project

Paper and pencils are an essential for every student and this project will help provide those items for my students in need. The folders in this project will give them the opportunity to organize their writing and track their progress throughout the year. This way, students take pride in their work and get to see first hand how they acquiring new skills and using them to improve their writing.

This project also includes dry erase markers and erasers so that students can use personal white boards in the classroom.

These white boards help student participate with the lesson in real time without wasting so much paper.
