My Students
My students are a group of children from many different backgrounds. We are vast multicultural schools of all levels of economic status however the majority are low social economic backgrounds. Most of our students are first generation Americans or they themselves are immigrants. We are labeled a Title one school for that reason.
My students need more exploration to build better understanding of the topic of forces and motion.
I am looking to forward my students to better understand the English language through many project activities.
My Project
I am always struggling with the replacement of notebooks as January, February, and March roll around. Having them at arms reach rather than wait for a parent to supply will enhance learning and will be less disruptive to the learning process. As for the paper I make copies of pictures, worksheets, etc to help build better understanding.
I often carry in reams of paper on my long journey from NJ through the NJ transit bus system and the NYC subway just to make the copies.
Having a carton of paper will help ease my load and help me prepare for my class without the heavy load of carrying it in on my travels.
