This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students love to draw, write and create! But boy do they go through a ton of paper and ink.
My students come from neighborhoods in East Harlem.
Most of them come from single parent homes. Many of them live in shelters. For such a young age many of these first graders have been through a lot. Despite their troubles, they love to come to school and learn everyday.
My Project
My first graders are very artistic and creative. They love to draw and write stories, they love surfing the web and printing up pictures and games to use. As a teacher I use paper and ink to print up newsletters, worksheets, homework and notices for parents as well.
With your donations of paper and ink my students will be able to continue to be creative and artistic.
They will be able to print up the stories they write and I will be able to provide them with worksheets to reinforce their learning as well as communicate with parents through letters and notices. Please donate to my project.
