My Project
This year with the help of DonorsChoose we have been able to create a full functioning cafe run by students with special needs. The items will help us learn how to make coffee. This project will help build on an already great initiative that teachers our students to work in a store, handle money, take orders, and foster communication and independence.
This project will help us expand our breakfast serving capabilities and allow the students to interact and serve the school community.
It brings together the entire student and staff community and provides endless opportunity for a population often overlooked.
