it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school, my students faced several challenges both in and out of the classroom. All of my students have been identified with special needs such as autism, developmentally delayed, intellectual disabilities, language impairment and deaf and hard of hearing. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking for the best classroom tools to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
My early childhood special education students are very creative and full of energy.
They like to observe, play and explore new materials. A typical day in our class is based on learning through play. From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom I focus on their potential and growth. I am hoping to inspire even our earliest learners to continue on a path of academic excellence.
My Project
The projector won't be only a source for entertainment in the classroom, it will be used as a tool of learning. The children will be able to see educational movies based on the curriculum we study in class. This extra support gives extra information to the children on specific topics to help them learn. Besides the movies and video clips, there are many interactive crosswords and puzzles games available for teaching the little ones. This projector will make a huge difference in the class because the children will be exposed to the best classroom activities and technology. At the same time, children will be able to use and help the teachers set up the equipment.
