This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, students engage with literature on multiple levels. They read diverse stories, craft their narratives, and collaborate on visually striking posters that showcase literary connections. To elevate this experience, students will benefit from having fresh art supplies, particularly vibrant markers, that will transform our creative process.
These new tools will empower students to:
Express their unique perspectives through vivid illustrations; enhance their collaborative poster projects with eye-catching designs; visualize literary themes and character journeys in colorful detail; Explore the intersection of visual art and written storytelling.
Integrating these art supplies fosters a deeper connection between reading, writing, visual expression, and emotional learning. Students will bring their imaginations to life, exploring the depths of literature through both words and images. This multi-faceted approach not only enhances comprehension but also allows students to weave rich, colorful stories that reflect their inner worlds and unique interpretations of the texts they encounter.
