This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I’m requesting will allow students to give instructions to their teachers. They will use their art skills and guide a group of teachers through a step by step painting experience. The afterschool experience will give them an opportunity to work with teachers outside of the normal day. They will create a “class painting project” that will be successful in a step by step presentation. The students own the night. They prepare and distribute and problem solve as they guide teachers in a fun painting project. I hope to boost their self confidence and people skills, as well as bond with their teachers.
