it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 3rd and 5th grade elementary students are thriving with in-person art instruction in a post pandemic world after a 2 years of covid restrictions. My students are a diverse group, they are a mix of general education students, special education students, and English language learners. In addition to learning about different mediums, mentor artists, and art history, my students enjoy reading diverse books about a variety of artists and engaging in STEAM activities. My students are eager to learn and I enjoy teaching, mentoring, and shaping the minds of tomorrow's leaders
In the new year, students will be creating water color painting activities and using glue sticks for a variety of activities and we are need of a refresher!
