This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Preschoolers are hands-on learners who can benefit from learning art techniques through books and simple applications with basic art materials. Adding vocabulary to their repertoire that is specific to famous artists will allow them to open their eyes to the world of art in an easy and fun way. Exposing students to famous artists of different backgrounds, mediums, and techniques allows students to experiment and explore their own creativity through art. By focusing on a different artist a month, students can read about and look at the different art pieces each artist is known for as well as replicate a famous piece in a simple manner using paint, oil pastels, and chalk. At the end of the year, we will have an Art Show for families to see the great masterpieces their children created.
