Painting Adventures

My students need 30 paint containers to experience painting art.

My Students

Every student loves to paint! The paint containers will allow students to experiment and save colors they have mixed, so their new creations can be used the following week when they return to art.

My students range from Kindergarten to Sixth grade.

They attend a striving school in Tennessee. We are focusing on building problem solving skills and the power of visual images. My students are hands on and visual learners. They do best when they can connect actual experiences to the curriculum taught.

My Project

The paint containers will give my students the chance to save color mixtures they have created. It is very exciting to see students experiment with color mixing and create the exact colors they need for their work. The paint containers will also allow us to save paint and cut down on the cost of purchasing new bottles of tempera.

The most important aspect of this project, is students will have the opportunity to work on paintings for numerous weeks.

This builds a sense of pride for completed projects because students will experience how much hard work they have put into their masterpieces.
