Painting a Bright Future: Easel and Art Supplies for PreK
Help me give my students an easel and painting supplies to spark creativity and provide my PreK students with hands-on art opportunities that encourage self-expression, motor skill development and a love for learning.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, creative, and eager my pre-k students are- they're like little sponges, soaking up knowledge through every experience. They thrive on hands-on activities that allow them to explore and express themselves in meaningful ways.
We don't have an easel in our classroom to support their creativity and fine motor development.
An easel would provide a dedicated, upright space for painting and drawing, encouraging my students to express their ideas in new ways. It would also allow them to learn how shapes can be used to create drawings, combining foundational art and math skills.
Using an easel would not only inspire creativity but also help develop fine motor skills and strengthen their upper body muscles, essential for tasks like writing later in their academic careers. The painting supplies in this project will give my students the tools they need to experiment with colors, textures, and shapes, fostering problem-solving and confidence.
These resources will transform our art center, giving my students opportunities for self-expression, collaboration, and joy! This project will set them up for success by supporting their growth both creatively and academically, encouraging them to continue exploring the world with wonder and curiosity.
