My elementary art students love painting and they could really use new brushes. The supply money that we get for the art program goes toward materials that are used up each year like paper or paints.
Students in grades 1 through 5 at this school have art classes every other week (I also work at two other schools).
They attend a wonderful school with a great staff of teachers. These students are enthusiastic about learning and creating. Students at this school have 71% free and reduced lunch.
My Project
Please consider donating toward a class pack of brushes so that my students can enjoy better experiences of creativity, expression and skill-building through art-making. New brushes could benefit many students for years as they create watercolor and tempera paintings. Students will experience the joy of painting and will learn about art history and painting techniques.
Donating toward the brushes will contribute to the artistic growth and experiences of the students at this school.
