Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have become very interested in art therapy and want to be in the art club this year. The students are working to express their feelings through art. We need the markers, crayons and watercolor paints in order for students to continue to foster self expression through art.
The snacks will help the students make good decisions and allow them a reward for positive behaviors.
Also, students will have something in their bellies until they get home for dinner.
My students work every day to develop and master coping skills and positive outlets for their feelings. They love to be involved and any support you can provide will allow them to focus on their art. They will love and appreciate the new art materials. Thank you.
