Paint Party Produces Positivity

Help me give my students a paint party to promote stress relief and to help show how to stimulate optimistic attitudes.

My Project

My 8th graders are fun, loving, helpful and very grateful. The pandemic has altered the way we normally celebrate our 8th grade graduates. Through it all, they have tried to remain resilient. I love how they always try to find the good in not so great situations. I love how they encourage each other. They are true leaders. They are amazing. I will use the canvas and paint to have students paint positive words and affirmations. They will paint a vision of their "happy place and "happy space", while listening to soft and peaceful music. My students will create classroom art gallery walk for each to see and share their final products.

This productive paint party will promote positivity in our classroom.

This paint party will help my students to expand creative growth and will promote stress relief. I would love to take the time to celebrate their success as the leaders in our school's building.
