My Students

My students are enthusiastic and excited to create art. I love how excited they are when they walk into class. They have a genuine love for art, and it makes my heart happy to be their art teacher. Many of my students come from low-income homes, so being in my art room is pretty much their only exposure to the fine arts. They are creative and hardworking students, and I love every one of them!

My Project

We are moving into our color unit this semester and we have everything we need except somewhere to store our paint. My students need Pallets to store and mix paint. Color mixing is one of the most important parts of art because it teaches students about Color Theory which can be used in many other parts of their lives.

In the past, we have used paper plates to mix paint but with 180 students just in my classes, it is essential to keep things organized.
