Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students live in a world of poverty - with a stunning view of the city skyline. We need more than the standard 8 colors to depict our neighborhood.

We won several Art contests last year and we want to keep winning. The only paint sets we have do not include violet and are quickly running out of blue. Without the extra colors, our art isn't nearly as expressive and lively.

These paint sets will enable us to continue creating masterpieces for months to come. I've put in a separate project to supply refills that will extend our art for years. These kids really love to paint and it shows! Not only is their art beautiful, they go through paint crazy. Paint is an excellent way for kids to learn patience, cause and effect, color blending and many other artistic and life skills.

Your donation will ensure that the entire school's Kinder - 5th grade population has paint to use in Art Class this year. As any child knows, paint is an essential part of the elementary art experience.
