My Students
My students are bright, creative, and eager to learn. They love coming to art class. My students have very creative minds. My students live in a rural community.
Both of my schools are Title I schools, but that does not prevent my students from learning about and being curious about art!
They love different art experiences. We try to use as many different media as we can fit into our program.
My students enjoy art. It is the best time of their day!!
They are enthusiastic and are usually up for any art challenge!
My Project
Painting is one of the great joys of childhood. The paint that that I hope to get will be used by students at both of my schools.
We will be doing a recycling project with the paint and plastic bottles.
The paint is an integral part of the project. Students will add color to the bottles, then cut them into spirals.
The spirals will then be strung together to make a spinner. It can be hung inside or outside. This is a great project for after EOGs.
The brushes that I hope to get are badly needed. All of the brushes that we have are so worn, they barely paint anymore.
