My Students
My uniquely talented students are big dreamers! As we revitalize our fine arts programming at our school, we need your support in building our art spaces to include exhibit materials and the multimedia supplies to realize their dreams. These materials will give our students the tools to unlock their full potential and connect them to their own vibrant Washington Heights neighborhood. Students from our community often face the social injustice of underfunded arts programs. Join us in creating equity for our students!
My Project
The vision: lovingly curated pop-up exhibits of our student artwork in our community school spaces that match the brilliance of our students’ imagination and excellence. Your donation of stand alone easels and paint, will transform our school into one that welcomes parents and students alike to dream on in living color!
School funding of the arts takes a backseat to the core subjects; but a well-rounded pupil who connects information to their own experiences, will find themselves engaged in authentic life-long learning.
Parents will engage with student artwork across grade levels and will have the opportunity to make art with their children in art workshops throughout the school year.
