This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All students benefit from lots of self-directed arts experiences. Painting, drawing, and crafting all support motor development, an understanding of shape, line, and pattern, and a rich vocabulary for describing and sharing their amazing projects.
I am asking for paint sticks and scented markers to enrich my Kindergarten classroom.
Paint sticks are easy to use and virtually mess-free, since they dry within minutes and enable textured and layered effects. Additionally, I am asking for a set of fine tip scented markers. Young children LOVE scented markers, and the aromas encourage detailed and sustained coloring. In this way, children build hand-eye coordination and the pleasure of working a long time for extra special creations.
