My Project
As an educator, I am continuously inspired by the unique qualities and potential of my students. In our tier 2 program, we have a diverse group of learners who bring with them a myriad of backgrounds, experiences, and abilities. What makes these students special is their resilience, curiosity, and eagerness to learn despite facing various challenges.
The I Survived and Last Kids on Earth novels are essential tools that will significantly impact the learning experience of my students.
These novels will serve as windows to the world, allowing my students to explore different perspectives, and themes. These novels will provide students with opportunities for meaningful discussions and reflections, enabling them to develop empathy and a deeper understanding of themselves and others. Additionally, accompanying resources such as study guides, and worksheets will support differentiated instruction, ensuring that each student can access and engage with the material at their own pace and level.
Ultimately, the overarching goal of this project is to equip my students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to thrive academically and beyond. By investing in their education and providing them with the resources they need to succeed, we are laying the foundation for a brighter future filled with endless possibilities.
