it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of our incoming students are economically disadvantaged. We have a very diverse student population, and I would love to have a new classroom library to celebrate their diversity and roots as they enter their first year of school. We are starting from scratch, but it is important to me for them to have access to different books and different voices. They should have the opportunity to have choices and books they are excited to get into, enjoy, and talk about. We want to add books they can appreciate individually and books for us to love during read alouds. Thank you for your consideration!
