This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

At our school, we have a significant number of students that come from poverty and difficult home lives. These students are performing below grade level and need a fun way to catch up. Many students do not have access to technology for academic purposes which would help decrease their learning gap. Instead, they are even further behind the current level of education.

Besides their home lives, we have very limited materials as a district and they are not buying any additional resources to supplement and support our learning and address our needs.

My Project

These materials will limited the time scholars use to get their materials ready and it will be easy for them to stay organized. My students move to 2 classrooms and keeping their materials organized and sanitize during Covid has been a challenge. These totes will definitely simplify things along with the book bins. Once organized we can maximize the time of instructions and ease the anxiety of not having all their materials. Organization and fluid movement helps capitalize learning in every area of academics and personal life lessons. Thank you!
