Help me give my students the supplies they need to learn at home. The Lakeshore transition to School backpacks will provide each of my students the opportunity to practice and learn at home.

My Students
I teach at a Title I school and love my job! My students are from a high poverty area and consist of English language learners, children at risk (some are homeless) and children with special needs. My school has students from 46 countries and many of my students start the school year not knowing any English.
My job consists of getting my students kindergarten ready.
That means I need to provide as many language and experience rich activities as possible. Many of my students have little or no support at home and often come to school unprepared (food, shelter, and clothing needs are not always met). I need your help to provide materials for my students and their families to have deliberate practice at home.
My Project
My students need practice to be fully prepared for kindergarten. Learning at school is essential but they need to practice skills at home too. Having supplies at home to refine and perfect skills would be a game changer!
With the carefully chosen supplies on my list, my students will be able to deliberately practice skills and improve their performance.
The transition to school backpacks contain items for both Literacy and Math acquisition. My goal is to have each and every child prepared to start kindergarten with the knowledge to be a successful 21st century learner.
