Help me give my students a variety of art materials in assorted sizes and colors. These items will help me create literacy activities to promote early literacy skills and enhance students' natural curiosity.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I currently am a Pre-K teacher to a class of 18 students in Staten Island, New York. Each student has their own unique way of learning. This is the first school experience for many of my students so I work to create all my activities engaging and exciting!
Students in early childhood require hands-on activities to promote imagination and curiosity.
The use of a wide variety of art materials helps support students' natural curiosity and brings excitement to student learning. These art materials will be used in our art center which will allow students to choose their own materials and create their very own masterpieces!
