This is exactly what these innovative little robots will do for my students; involve them in the learning experience.
My first graders are enthusiastic, eager, and have a positive attitude towards learning regardless of the academic challenges they may face.
Our school is equipped with the basic educational resources, however this is not enough to provide a fun and engaging learning experience for all my students.
My Project
The materials I am requesting will help meet my students' academic needs. Ozobots are fun and interesting little robots that allow students to learn about probability, problem solving, logic, and visual coding. These robots work with apps that are already downloaded into the iPads the students already use at school.
Students work with these robots to determine the paths the robot should follow to get to the finish line or the goal the students have set.
When I think about my students and their many individual academic needs, I can't help but think of the tremendous impact these materials will have on them.
The materials I am requesting will help meet my students' different academic needs by allowing me to reinforce math skills we are already learning in class. Ozobots will have students thinking outside the box and learning while playing.
