My Students

My students at OCE come from a variety of abilities, backgrounds, and cultures. I see all grade levels, K-5, every day. They LOVE coming to my STEM Lab to learn, build, explore, and collaborate with each other. Most importantly they are learning Science and don't even know it since we are having fun doing it!

My students help each other to complete any STEM challenge I give them.

They also love it when we can incorporate technology, like going to the computer lab to do some coding. I think with having technology available in the classroom will only add to the excitement and love of learning even more!

My Project

My students need Ozobots to become engaged and inspired when learning about science, technology, engineering and math...STEM! My classroom is a devoted STEM lab as part of our specials or outclass rotation. I see all six grade levels, K-5, and all students in my school of over 950 students. I need materials accessible to them to practice the new skills they are learning, while also providing hands-on activities for higher level thinking.

Coding, STEM, Robotics: these have become buzzwords in the last several years.

Schools are working to integrate technology into the classroom and curriculum, but it can be costly. I have found Ozobots to be a cost effective and fun way to build confidence and logical thinking skills in tech and computer science.

Ozobots will encourage students to think critically while designing, programming, and coding. Ozobot empowers children to socially play and create, while learning valuable life skills They are easy to understand, color-based coding language, which makes Ozobots accessible to all of my students, regardless of grade level. Students will be able to collaborate with each other which will enforce their ability to analyze, reason, and communicate their ideas effectively.

Ozobots are a vital program for students to learn and understand the new technology and programming of the 21st century!
