Owl Pellet Dissection!

My Project

I am requesting owl pellets. My fifth grade scientists learn about food webs as part of their curriculum. What better way to understand this topic than actually digging in and discovering what an owl has eaten!

My goal for this project is to obtain enough supplies so that two students can work together on one pellet.

They have the opportunity to work with a partner, which I believe is a lifelong skill.

Fifth graders are capable of doing more advanced projects, and dissecting owl pellets is one they always remember! The more interested they are, the more they understand!
