This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I greet them daily with a good morning and a hug. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.

My scholars are bright and energetic!

I would like to make my classroom as inviting and warm as possible. This is where we spend each day, so it is our second home. Our school is one big family. We look out for each other and are always willing to give a helping hand. In our class, it's okay to make mistakes, as long as we learn from them. We say please and thank you and always remember to be polite. We can't control what others say but how we react to it. It is okay to get upset, but not okay to hurt others. We give respect to earn respect and we treat others how we want to be treated. I am very fortunate because I am able to go to work every day to students who are my world.

My Project

Every year we have a living museum project. It is where students research and become their person. My class would like to learn about presidents. With these books, students will be able to research and become their president.

They are so excited to learn about the presidents!

With your help, students will be able to read and use these books for their projects. These books will also help them to make their AR (Accelerated Reader) goals because each book has a level and points attached to them. It will also help future students to learn about American Presidents. They will be so excited to learn!
