This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I greet them daily with a good morning and a hug. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.

My scholars are bright and energetic!

I would like to make my classroom as inviting and warm as possible. This is where we spend each day, so it is our second home. Our school is one big family. We look out for each other and are always willing to give a helping hand. In our class, it's okay to make mistakes, as long as we learn from them. We say please and thank you and always remember to be polite. We can't control what others say but how we react to it. It is okay to get upset, but not okay to hurt others. We give respect to earn respect and we treat others how we want to be treated. I am very fortunate because I am able to go to work every day with students who are in my world.

My Project

The baseballs, soccer balls, and jump ropes will make recess more entertaining, will help our fifth grade students have more choices at recess, and make them happy. Each day, there are about 100 students that use the playground equipment we currently have. Unfortunately, we don't have a budget for recess equipment so we don't have a variety of equipment and most of the equipment is either lost, popped, or very used.

We want our students to have a variety of items to be used in recess.

They enjoy running around with each other but with this project being funded, the students will be able play different games at the same time. They will be so happy and excited to receive theses items. Thank you in advance for you generosity.
