This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the 6th grade students study biomes, habitats, how organisms interact and work together (or again) each other. This could also be in the sense of predator versus prey or even adaptability.

I would love to provide my students with owl pellets to dissect this year, to help reiterate the relationship between organisms.

This is something that none of them have had the opportunity to experience. This activity will serve as their first dissection of the year. I will be able to teach them dissection procedures on something simple, safe and fun!
