My Students
My students are a group of enthusiastic, hard working, science loving third graders. They have a passion for hands-on learning, especially the sciences. We strive to connect the concepts we learn in the classroom to the real world.
However, many of my students experience poverty and have limited opportunities to further develop their love of science outside of the classroom.
I'd love to take my students on an end of year field trip they'd remember for the rest of their lives.
My Project
Ever wonder what happens to the Boston Museum of Science at night? I want my students to discover science in an entertaining, educational, and interactive way through hands-on science activities, a Theater of Electricity Lightning! Show, science demonstrations, an Omni film, time to explore the Museum, and much more. Plus, where else would they have a chance to sleep under a dinosaur or a giant grasshopper?
While there, our students would make connections to so much of what was learned during the year about force, the solar system, fossils, and so many other topics.
