My Students
Who likes fun, bright new game pieces? Kindergarten kids do!
An excited group of five year olds will be entering school for the first time in August.
They are energetic and eager to learn. We have a fantastic school. It is a Title One school and unfortunately we can not always get the materials that are needed.
My Project
Many of the teacher made games and activities in my classroom are old, worn out, and missing pieces. Having colored copy paper will allow me to make new games. It's amazing how much brightly colored paper excites children and grabs their attention. They will also use the colored paper for special art projects through out the school year.
Kindergarten children enjoy working independently and are encouraged to as much as possible.
Unfortunately, it is not always easy for them to do so. However, if I am able to color code things for them, such as games pieces, it will allow them to work more independently.
