Help me give my students Half of the items are the classroom supplies, which will help them with the hand-on activities; Half of them are related to Chinese Culture and Chinese new year activity (Rabbit Creamy candy).

My Students

My students are amazing and so brave.

All my students are taking the Dual Language Immersion (DLI) Chinese program since their first grade, and they will continue learning Chinese till the 10th grade in their high school, Also, throughout the class, they are supposed to use target language 100% even in first grade.

The DLI Chinese program is intend to teach kid the second language through the content (math, science, Social studies), which means that they have more challenging courses to take, more homework to do, more efforts to put into their study.

At the same time, more resources and funds are in desperate need to improve their proficiency and prepare them for the AP Chinese exam in 9th grade. For example, field trip to Chinese communities, participation in Chinese culture event (Chinese New year event), cultural products, account of ArchChinese.com and Ponddy Chinese, etc would be very helpful to my students.

My Project

Chinese New Year is around the corner, and it is a great opportunity for my students to experience and enjoy authentic Chinese new year traditions and customs.

The item such as ink, rice paper, red couplet paper, red envelop, Rabbit Creamy candy, etc will help them participate the Chinese new year activities here at my school and the New Year Event to be held in another school.

Other culture items such as the Chinese instrument, the fan, Chinese Chess, etc will be used to not only help them learn Chinese music, traditional sports, improve their Culture awareness, but also make the class fun and keep them motivated.

The rest are the classroom supplies such as air purifier that will keep my class environment safe, and run better.
