Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing. They work hard all day, participating and learning their daily lessons in two languages! They are Dual Language Immersion students and they work incredibly hard to learn. This project will help provide them with outside opportunities to be active and creative.

Students work hard inside the classroom, and when they are outside they deserve to give their hardworking brains a break.

This project focuses on giving students opportunities to learn and play outside. I plan to use the activities as a free time option, but also as a station rotation to practice listening to instructions and strengthening motor skills.

Other materials in the project will promote learning and student skill practice and teacher instruction. The megaphone will help me instruct them outside during rotations and help them be able to hear me. The Teacher Pay Teacher gift cards and Who Was books will help my students learn about other view points.
