Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students requested to learn about the outdoors and go on camping trips. As a Title 1 school, we do not have the funds to start a camping or outdoors club. With these tents to get us started, students will be able to learn outdoor safety and enjoy time together without their electronics. Additionally, they will be able to practice leadership in the outdoors and build comradery with their peers through the struggles and adventures they will go on together.

As a long time Scouter and outdoor enthusiast, I am excited to share my passion for the outdoors with my students.
