This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We currently do not have a playground at our elementary school. Unfortunately, it was old and outdated and it had to be torn down. We currently have recess outside on the grass. The students only have a few playground balls to play with, and not enough for everyone. Please help us get fun and engaging recess toys.
Recess is very beneficial for students.
Recess provides opportunities for socialization, teamwork, and practice with conflict-resolution skills. Students are spending more time on technology devices and are struggling with the previously mentioned skills.
