Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students love to play basketball and soccer during recess, but lack the equipment to play. These basketballs and soccer balls will keep our students engaged and active, and teach them sportsmanship and problem solving.
Giving students an outlet for their energy helps them focus more in the classroom during learning time.
We have over 100 students outside at recess during each block and this equipment will allow more students to play at a time. For many, recess is the best part of the day. Help me keep it fun.
