Outdoor Play in Any Weather

Help me give my students , ages 3 to 6, access to outdoor learning—even in wet, muddy weather! Outdoor play supports movement, STEM exploration, creativity, and communication skills, rain or shine.

My Project

For years, I have dreamed of students having access to the outdoors, even when it’s wet. Little children love the rain, mud, and especially puddles! Rain boots and ponchos will keep us dry and give us freedom of movement in rainy weather. Storage boxes will keep our materials safe, and baskets will organize our outdoor learning materials. The students love to pretend play, and the chairs will be a fantastic addition to our current space.

This project funds all necessary materials for ample learning indoors, as well as suiting up for exploring in the outdoors.

I teach in the only public Montessori school in the state of Mississippi. I have a mixed-age classroom of 20 students from 3 to 6 years old. Thank you for helping make learning fun!
