My Project
The pre-k special needs students at our school are special in more ways than one! Developmental delays including motor, social, sensory, and communication keep them from being able to learn like the other students.
Our littles need many opportunities for sensory and outside play to improve delays in specific areas.
Research indicates that play is a very important part of learning for 3-4-year-olds.
The materials that I have chosen include items for dramatic play, motor and social play which can be used in many different ways and will also improve communication and language skills.
