My Project

Hello! My name is Martha Arana, and I teach preschool at MEEC in South Central LA. My preschoolers love exploring music and nature, and I am excited to introduce a new project that will help them develop creativity and musical skills in an engaging outdoor setting.

I am requesting funding to create an Outdoor Musical Chime Center, a dedicated space where students can interact with high-quality, weather-resistant chimes and other percussion instruments in an open-air environment.

These chimes will allow students to experience music in a tactile and interactive way, helping them develop their sense of rhythm, pitch, and teamwork.

The Outdoor Musical Chime Center will provide many benefits to my students. I envision this space as a place where my students can explore the chimes and create their own music, fostering a love for sound and rhythm. Participate in structured group or free-play activities, where music and creativity can flourish.

Your generous donation will help us create this exciting outdoor space for musical exploration, providing my students with the opportunity to make beautiful sounds, express themselves, and connect with nature in a fun and meaningful way. With your support, we can make this outdoor chime center a reality and give my students a place to explore the magic of music!
