Help me give my students an imaginative place to act out stories by helping us get costumes, dancing scarves, interactive scripts, books about legends, and a curtain for our new outdoor theater!

My Project

I am a kindergarten teacher who loves to teach outdoors in our beautiful outdoor classrooms. My students are creative, clever, imaginative, funny artists! I plan to build an outdoor theater in our forest where children will act out scripts and plays that they read and create. This will help foster their literacy skills and creative expression - a win, win! The books I have included in my wish list will help inspire and direct some of these plays. The curtain and rod will create a dramatic flare to the theater! I can imagine all the students at UCS will love to use the scarves for performing dances, and the robes and butterfly wings for ultimate storytelling. This would be a lovely addition to our outdoor experience and one our whole school community can enjoy!
