This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My preschoolers are full of curiosity and excitement to come to school and learn everyday. With spring here and summer approaching, I need your support to provide my students outdoor materials that are enriching and provide them with opportunities to spend more time outdoors learning.

The outdoor materials I am requesting will support our youngest learners who enjoy reading, using hands-on manipulatives that provide them with opportunities to engage in imaginative play as a way to-learn and explore new concepts.

Outdoor play important; and the need to create intentional outdoor opportunities for children couldn’t be greater. I would love to bring the classroom experience outdoors. With your support, I can create an outdoor environment that’s welcoming for all children to explore and engage in meaningful activities.

The materials I am requesting -Preschool Sand Water Table - to offer my students open ended opportunities to explore and create learning opportunities in their environment, through hands-on lesson activities.

The first couple of activities I hope my students will be able to enjoy with these materials is engage in water play, dramatic play, and investigating how plants grow when with start our plant unit. Extra outdoor time will help their social-emotional, cognitive and language development.
