Outdoor Learning Classes Need Bluetooth Amplification
Help me give my students and staff these two Sony Speakers so that we may amp up the excitement and our voices during class rewards, outdoor classrooms, collaboration pods, library and many other areas of our school.
Technology is the future. Our school is made up of eight hundred children from a mix of backgrounds. These kids have huge dreams and can accomplish so much. They really do have bright minds and just need a little help to get the tools in their hands to prove it. I have decided to turn my Computer Lab into a STEM lab for every grade level, K-5 that will come to my room. I am in need of enriching STEM materials to use to teach the design process and critical thinking.
Our campus is still new and creating an amazing culture as well as becoming a family.
Imagine dealing with the school shutdowns in the Spring of 2020 and opening a new building with not many other children you know from your previous campus and then rebuilding your relationships. It's tough!
We would like to celebrate kids more and add more fun to lessons and classes while using our outdoor learning spaces and indoor collaboration pods. We need this Bluetooth speaker to be able to add that fun and to amplify our voices within these great spaces.
My Project
I am wanting to improve the atmosphere in our outdoor learning spaces, at PE, in Music class, during PBIS celebrations, after school groups, and during events on our campus and within our collaboration pods. I am wanting to make things more vibrant and active with music during these activities while also providing a way to amplify the staffs' voices with speakers. I am seeking the funds for two large Sony Bluetooth light up speakers to help build a more fun and interactive atmosphere during these times. They also have the ability to be used as speakers with a microphone for students to be able to hear staff better. They even wirelessly link with each other to give us portablity without messy wires.
Students are given many chances to earn reward celebrations and partake in after/before school programs.
These Bluetooth speakers will help make these activities and celebrations much more exciting thus giving a child more reason to earn the incentive. These speakers will be an improvement to movement activities and dance during PE classes and Music classes as well. (especially outdoors). It can also be used during staff and parent meetings to improve sound quality since it works with an external microphone. These speakers will be a boost to many different classrooms, meetings, and activities throughout our campus. We can't wait to get these awesome speakers.
