Outdoor Garden to teach Sustainability

Help me give my students gardening and composting materials. The compost bin will be used to collect the "good trash" and used as fertilizer in our raised garden beds.

My Project

I plan to use these materials to teach our students how to build self sustainability. I also want to create a "Green Team" at our school using these resources. I want the students to understand the process and be able to eat from the vegetables and fruits that we plant. Eventually, I would love to turn it into enough food and produce to provide easier and cheaper access to the community food pantries for families in need. This will teach our students about serving others while they are learning about growing foods and sustainability.
